Objective

To give automotive dealerships one operator-first platform that turns fragmented buying, selling and reconditioning work into clear, AI-assisted decisions — software built by people who have run the floor, not just studied it.

Design Process

Grounding every screen in real dealership operations: mapping how GMs, buyers and recon teams actually work, then designing flows that make the AI's recommendations obvious, trustworthy and fast to act on.

UX Strategy

Key Design Principles

Operator-First Clarity

Dealership staff work fast, under pressure.

Every screen was designed to:

  • Surface the next action
  • Cut jargon and clutter
  • Show live status at a glance

AI You Can Trust

Recommendations only help if people believe them.

The interface builds confidence through:

  • Transparent risk and margin scoring
  • Clear reasons behind each suggestion
  • A human override on every decision

Modular by Design

Three products, one system.

The design keeps them coherent:

  • Shared patterns across modules
  • Adopt one or run them together
  • Consistent data and status language

Final Design

A clean, credible interface that makes AI-driven dealership decisions feel simple and trustworthy.

Reflections

Designing for dealership operators meant unlearning generic SaaS patterns. The people using Coresoft don't have time to explore they need the right number and the right action, right now.

The biggest wins came from restraint: fewer options per screen, plain language over feature-speak, and letting the AI explain itself so the human always stays in control.
